THE WEEKEND:

Saturday 1-3 pm at the Methow Valley Community Center Gym - Workshops and Classes.  Instructors: Jenny Xu, Ben Feldman, Xavier Lecouturier, and Dave Nolet.  (Cost:  Free to students, others $20. Tickets at the door, cash or check).  Attend any or all:

Saturday 7 pm (doors open at 6:30) at the Methow Valley Community Center - Concert by the Jenny Xu Trio, and readings by the Confluence Poets - This amazing group features three of the most exciting young purveyors of jazz.  Jenny and Ben are everywhere on the NYC scene, and Xavier is one of Seattle's hottest drummers.  Original poetry by our amazing Confluence Poets - Greg Wright and Cindy Williams Guiterriez. Accompaniment by Wayne Mendro and Marcus Duke.  Wine from Lost River, and beer from OSB will be available. (Tickets:  Free to students, others $20.  Tickets only at the door, cash or check)

Sunday 2-4 pm at the Methow Valley Community Center - All-Community Jazz Jam hosted by Jenny Xu Trio - The Methow gets an incredible treat and opportunity to jam with NYC jazz pros - Open to the public - everybody is welcome to listen and/or join in with your voice or instrument.  This will be exciting! Free to everyone!

SOLD OUT! Sunday 5:00-9 pm - Jazz Night at Tappi - The Jenny Xu/Ben Feldman Duo, and the Marcus Duke/George Schneider Duo - Welcome at 5 pm, a single seating at 5:30 pm, a signature Tappi meal specially prepared by John, and after dinner, two sets of music in a most intimate setting.  Reservations required by calling Tappi 509-997-3345. Cost: $65 (tax, tip exclusive) includes meal, wine, dessert, and the music!  Pay at Tappi.
