Recurring Events

➢  First Sundays,  3-5pm  - Methow Acoustic Musicians Association (MAMA) - the MAMA circle gathers, outdoors at Twisp Park the first Sunday afternoon of the month (holiday exceptions). All are invited. There are only two “rules”; no electricity (with limited exceptions) and everyone takes turns playing and leading songs. MAMA is a song circle of inclusion and friendship.

➢  Sundays at 5:30 (Oct 6, 20, 27) at the Twisp River Tap House - Terry Hunt - Terry on classical guitar and other mellow styles with occasional guest artists.  No cover.

➢  Second Sunday of every month, at 6:30pm at the Twisp Grange - Contra Dancing No experience or partner needed. By Donation.

➢  Mondays at 6:30 pm (beginning Sept. 30) at the Methow Valley United Methodist Church - Cascadia Chorale Rehearsals - The chorale is made up of singers of all ages and abilities, and new members are welcome.  Dana Stromberger directs.  To stay informed of orchestra and chorale rehearsals, volunteer opportunities, and performance dates, email Cascadia Music at cascadiamv@gmail.com to sign up for the newsletter. 

➢  Tuesdays - The Methow Ukulele Group meets every Tuesday from 4-6pm at various locations in the valley.  Contact Jerry at geraldebell@yahoo.com for more info. 

➢  Tuesdays - The Methow Valley Ciderhouse presents - Live music and Taco Tuesday -  4:30-6: Happy Hour! All drinks 25% off!  5-8PM: Live Music and great tacos!

➢  Tuesdays at 9:30 am at the Methow Valley Community Center, upstairs at Wellspring - Music in Motion - a play-based music and movement class for very small humans (birth to 3 years) and their caregivers.  Classes led by educator and musician Katya Chorover.  Pay what you can.  

➢  Wednesdays 5:30 - 8:30pm (beginners can begin at 5:30) - Join Debbie Bair and the High Country Kickers at The Twisp River Tap House Join dance instructor Debbie Bair & learn a variety of dances from the waltz & salsa to the 2 & 10 step and everything else in between - Singles, beginners, intermediate & advanced dancers aged 12 & up welcomed! Slick soles shoes recommended. Beginners 5:30pm-6:30 All skill levels 6:30pm-8:30pm. $5 Fee.

Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:20 pm (no class 10/31) at the MV Community Center gym, Twisp - ZUMBA with Tani - It’s a dance party!  By donation.

 Thursdays at 6:30pm in the MV Community Center, Room 3 - Methow Valley Orchestra Rehearsals - a community ensemble open to musicians who have at least two years of experience with their instrument and can read music.  To stay informed of orchestra and chorale rehearsals, volunteer opportunities, and performance dates, email Cascadia Music at cascadiamv@gmail.com to sign up for the newsletter. 

➢ Fridays (Oct 11, 18, 25) at 6:30 pm at the Twisp River Tap House - Open Mic Jam - Join Methow Valley’s expansive talent pool as they take to the Tap House stage to meld guitar riffs to sweet flute notes- bass & keys, vocals to harmonica & every instrument imaginable in between. Hosted by Gregg Hardy. In-house equipment includes piano, drum kit, cajon, tambourine, PA/Yamaha powered speakers, JBL monitors,16 channel mixer, Shure mics (vocal/eq/wireless headset) mic stands, & stage lighting. Free.
