➢ First Sundays, 3-5pm - Methow Acoustic Musicians Association (MAMA) - the MAMA circle gathers, winter meeting at Cove 2 meeting room right behind the food bank, the first Sunday afternoon of the month (holiday exceptions). All are invited. There are only two “rules”; no electricity (with limited exceptions) and everyone takes turns playing and leading songs. MAMA is a song circle of inclusion and friendship.
➢ Second and Fourth Sunday of every month, at 7pm at the Twisp Grange - Contra Dancing - No experience or partner needed. Victor may throw in some swing dancing toward the end of the evening, but it is mostly contra dancing. By Donation.
➢ Sundays during dinner hours at Tappi - Michael Brady - renowned local classical pianist will play every Sunday (starting again June 8) at this restaurant in Twisp that serves delicious Italian fare. He'll play a set or two of classical pieces, starting about 6 pm. There will be moonlight by both Beethoven and Debussy, as well as poetry, tears, laughter, singing and dancing by Chopin, Schubert, Brahms, and others. Call 509-997-3345 for reservations.
➢ Sundays 5-7pm - Balsamroot Boots - Intermediate level line dancing. We will dance 30 minutes, teach for 1 hour, and then dance for another 30. Cash donations appreciated. ➢ Sundays, 5:30pm at the Twisp River Tap House - Terry Hunt - Local classical guitarist Terry Hunt to perform an array of musical genres that will be sure to captivate your soul through his beautifully mastered classic guitar sounds. Terry is known to invite other Methow Valley talent to the stage to transform the evening into a jazzy journey! Don't miss a Sunday at the tap house! No cover with food or beverage purchase.
➢ Tuesdays - The Methow Ukulele Group meets every Tuesday at 4pm at various locations in the valley. Beginners welcomed. Contact Jerry at geraldebell@yahoo.com for more info.
➢ Tuesdays (9:30am) and Fridays (10am) at the MV Community Center upstairs - Music in Motion - play-based music and movement classes for very small humans (birth -3 yrs) and their caregivers. ➢ Wednesdays 5:15 - 8:00pm (beginners at 5:15) - Join Debbie Bair and the High Country Kickers at The Twisp River Tap House. Join dance instructor Debbie Bair & learn a variety of line dances - Singles, beginners, intermediate & advanced dancers aged 12 & up welcomed! Slick soles shoes recommended. Beginners 5:15pm-6:30 All skill levels 6:30pm-8:30pm. $5 Fee.
➢ Thursdays 6pm - It's become a lovely summer tradition to have local bands play on the Big Deck at Jupiter, this year between mid-May and mid-September.
➢ Fridays (only June 20 this month) at 6:30 pm at the Twisp River Tap House - Open Mic Jam - Join Methow Valley’s expansive talent pool as they take to the Tap House stage to meld guitar riffs to sweet flute notes- bass & keys, vocals to harmonica & every instrument imaginable in between. Hosted by Gregg Hardy. In-house equipment includes piano, drum kit, cajon, tambourine, PA/Yamaha powered speakers, JBL monitors,16 channel mixer, Shure mics (vocal/eq/wireless headset) mic stands, & stage lighting. Free
