Recurring Events

➢  First Sundays,  3-5pm  - Methow Acoustic Musicians Association (MAMA) - the MAMA circle gathers, winter  meeting at Cove II in Twisp, the first Sunday afternoon of the month (holiday exceptions). All are invited. There are only two “rules”; no electricity (with limited exceptions) and everyone takes turns playing and leading songs. MAMA is a song circle of inclusion and friendship.​

➢  Sundays 4:30-6:30pm (NO CLASS MARCH 15) at Twisp Grange - Balsamroot Boots - Intermediate level line dancing.  We will dance 30 minutes, teach for 1 hour, and then dance for another 30.  Donations appreciated. ➢   Mondays 6-8 pm, twice a month: March 9 & 23, April 13 & 27, May 11 & 25, and beyond, at Methow Valley Community Center gym - The Jazz Workshop.  The venue will have piano and drums (bring your own sticks), and PA and mixer. Bring your own microphone, if you have a favorite.  The concept is to create opportunities to learn and grow in playing jazz.  Each gathering will include playing/singing with the backing of a rhythm section.  Also included will be teaching, learning, and mentoring.  For more info, write to MethowJazzWorkshop@gmail.com.  Cost - $50 for six months, or $10 for a drop-in. Free for youth. The dues will help pay for venue, equipment, and occasional professional instruction. Cash or Venmo.  

➢  Tuesdays - The Methow Ukulele Group meets every Tuesday at 4pm at various locations in the valley.  Beginners welcomed.  Contact Jerry at geraldebell@yahoo.com for more info. 

➢  Wednesdays 5-8:00pm - Join Debbie Bair and the High Country Kickers at The Twisp River Tap House.  Beginners welcome—we would love to teach you to dance!!  

➢  Second Thursdays 5:30-8:30 at the OSB Taproom, Twisp - Second Thursday Open Mic - Come share your musical talents, tell a joke, spoken word, Cowboy poetry, etc at our amazing South Campus Taproom, where you can forge new musical friendships and play in a brand new space, with the most scintillating atmosphere in Twisp, see you onstage! Space for solo, duo, trio - maybe a snare or cajon, acoustic and electric. Please bring your own instruments. Generally speaking, sign up starts at 5:30, play up to 3-5 songs: 12-15 minutes. Please keep in mind we’re a family restaurant, so language should be library appropriate! No Cover

➢  First Fridays 6:00-9:00 at the Old Schoolhouse Brewery, Winthrop - First Friday Open Mic - Community performers 'First Friday Open Mic' series at OSB. Come share your musical talents, spoken word, jokes & comedy, Cowboy poetry, or perhaps recite your favorite recipe. Hobnob with your fellow Titans of the local music scene and the voracious consumers of sonic pleasure pulses and vibrating string theory. Sign up starts at 5:45. play up to 3-5 songs: 12-15 minutes'. Please keep in mind we’re a family restaurant, so language should be library appropriate! No Cover
